A sacred resting place for our faithful departed
Honoring the faithful who have gone before us
The cemetery at Zion Lutheran Church holds a special place in the hearts of our congregation and the broader Golden Spike community. For nearly 90 years, this sacred ground has been the final resting place for members of our church family and their loved ones.
Walking through our cemetery is a journey through the history of our community. The headstones tell the stories of the pioneers who settled this land, raised their families here, and passed on their Lutheran faith to future generations.
We are committed to maintaining this hallowed ground with the dignity and respect it deserves, ensuring that the memory of those buried here is preserved for generations to come.
"I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die."
— John 11:25-26
