A place of faith, fellowship, and community in the heart of Golden Spike, Alberta
"This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." — Psalm 118:24
Serving the Golden Spike community with faith, love, and fellowship since 1934
For nearly 90 years, Zion Lutheran Church has been a cornerstone of the Golden Spike community. Our congregation traces its roots to the German Lutheran settlers who established this vibrant community in the early 1900s.
Today, we continue their legacy of faith, offering a warm and welcoming space for worship, study, and fellowship. Whether you're a lifelong Lutheran or exploring faith for the first time, you'll find a home here.

Volunteer
At Zion Lutheran Church, worship is at the heart of everything we do. Our services blend traditional Lutheran liturgy with heartfelt music and inspiring messages from God's Word.
Each Sunday, we gather to celebrate the Lord's Supper, sing hymns of praise, and grow together in our understanding of Scripture. Our warm, welcoming congregation makes everyone feel at home.
Our Lutheran heritage teaches us that faith is a gift from God, received through His grace and strengthened through the study of His Word.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
— John 3:16
