Sunday Worship

Every Sunday at 10:30 AM

Our Sunday worship service is the heart of our congregational life. We gather each week to hear God's Word, receive the Sacraments, and offer our praise and thanksgiving through prayer and song.

Our worship follows traditional Lutheran liturgy, which has been enriching Christian worship for centuries. The service includes:

  • Opening hymn and invocation
  • Scripture readings from the Old Testament, Epistle, and Gospel
  • A sermon based on God's Word
  • Congregational hymns and prayers
  • Celebration of the Lord's Supper
  • Benediction and closing hymn

Music Ministry

Praising God through song

Music has always been at the heart of Lutheran worship. Martin Luther himself was a hymn writer, and the Lutheran tradition has produced some of the most beloved hymns in Christendom.

At Zion Lutheran Church, our congregation joins together in singing traditional hymns accompanied by our church musicians. The melodies and lyrics we sing together connect us to generations of Christians who have worshiped before us.

If you have musical gifts and would like to share them with our congregation, we welcome your participation in our worship services.

Bible Study

Growing together in God's Word

Our Wednesday evening Bible study provides an opportunity to dig deeper into Scripture in a relaxed, conversational setting. We explore the books of the Bible, discuss their meaning for our lives today, and encourage one another in faith.

Bible study is open to everyone, whether you're a lifelong student of Scripture or just beginning your journey. No question is too basic, and every voice is valued in our discussions.
